Mining pool

A mining pool is a collective gathering of several miners putting together their computing power to mine cryptocurrencies.

Mining pools are helping to solve the problem of the mining difficulty. Indeed, it is more and more difficult to mine blocks for individual miners.

However, with higher computing power, miners from mining pools have higher chances to solve the algorithm and thus to successfully mine the block. If the group of miners successfully mines a block, each member will get a reward for their work.
