FMA in Liechtenstein

The Financial Market Authority (or FMA) is an independent supervisory authority for financial markets in Liechtenstein.

The FMA is supervising the implementation of international standards and preparing financial regulations for the government. The FMA supervises cryptocurrency and cryptocurrency service providers since January 2020 through the Token and Trusted Technology Service Provider Act (TVTG) It requires such providers to register with the regulator and conduct due diligence processes.
