AMF in France

The AMF or Autorité des marchés financiers is a French financial watchdog. It ensures the protection of financial investments and orders market operations.

The French Authority supervises the cryptocurrency market in the country since 2019. It overviews activities such as ICOs and digital asset service providers (DASPs). DASPs and ICOs must for example register with the regulator.
