BEP20 tokens

BEP20 tokens are tokens supported on BNB Smart Chain.

BEP20 is the token standard extending Ethereum's most common token standard, ERC20. More specifically, a token standard is a blueprint of how a token functions. It outlines their usage rules. BEP20 standard is therefore used to create tokens on BNB Smart Chain and is compatible with ERC20.

BEP20 can be native crypto-assets but also assets pegged to a crypto-asset from another blockchain, so-called "peggy tokens".
