How to Check if Your Transaction Is Confirmed

To check your transaction status, you need:

• The transaction hash (TXID)
• The blockchain explorer for the coin you sent

Here’s how 👇

1. Find Your TXID

You’ll usually get this from:

• Your wallet or exchange
• The sender/recipient
• A transaction receipt

It looks like a long string of letters and numbers, like:

2. Use a Blockchain Explorer

Paste your TXID into one of these:

You'll see:

• Number of confirmations
• Status (Pending / Success / Failed)
• Timestamp
• Sender & receiver addresses
• Amount transferred

Why Is My Transaction Still Pending?

Possible reasons:

• Low gas or fee (especially on Ethereum)
• Network congestion
• Your transaction is in the mempool waiting to be included in a block
• You used a non-standard wallet or network

If it’s stuck for too long, try:

• Resending with higher gas/fee
• Contacting your wallet support
• Using a tool like ethgasstation.info to check network status
