What is the FCA in the United Kingdom?

The Financial Conduct Authority is the financial watchdog of the United Kingdom.

It regulates financial services operating in the country and protects consumers, keeps a stable industry, and promotes market competition. The FCA supervises with crypto-asset regulation since 2020; it requires crypto asset service providers to comply with AML/CFT regulations and to register with the authorities.
